Today, Jallu cabinetmakers say their objects are “museum quality” which is certainly true but also reveals the somewhat sad reality of their value rather as investments than a daily beauty for the eye and the touch. Beauties they are, though, and it is reassuring that someone still finds a way to conceive such fabulous creatures.
